Therapy dogs and their owners are volunteer teams that visit nursing homes, assisted living facilities, hospital, schools and churches. The purpose of a Therapy dog visit is to enhance, comfort and improve the lives of other people.
Sophie girl earned her AKC Novice Therapy Dog title by completing 10 visits. Currently she is working on her AKC Therapy Dog title that requires 50 visits total.
Stacie and Sophie have been a handler/dog team with Love on a Leash pet therapy organization since 2015.
Brightening someone’s day is one of Sophie’s favorite activities.
